This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you visit our websites, use our mobile app, engage with our events, or interact with our forms and services (together, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

Information you provide directly

  Contact details (name, email, phone) when you submit:

  General inquiries, Vendor Interest, Host an Event, Employment, Press/Media, Lost & Found, and Mailing List forms

  Vendor Market or Farmers Market application forms (business name, links, product descriptions)

  Order & checkout data for shop purchases (e.g., name, email, shipping/billing details; payment is processed by our payment partners)

  Event-related details when you buy tickets via our ticketing partners (e.g., SeeTickets)

  Job application details (resume/CV, work history; please avoid sending sensitive data unless necessary)

Information collected automatically

  Usage & device data: IP address, device/OS/browser, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, approximate location (derived from IP), and in-app analytics or crash logs

  Cookies & similar tech for core functionality, analytics, and (where applicable) marketing (see Cookies below)

Mobile app–specific

  Push notifications (with your permission)

  Approximate location (if you enable location-based features such as event reminders/directions)

You can disable permissions at any time in your device settings.

Information from third parties

  Ticketing partners (e.g., SeeTickets) for purchases and attendance

  Payment processors & e-commerce platforms for orders and fraud prevention

  Email/marketing providers for newsletter subscriptions and campaign performance

  Social media platforms when you follow or interact with us

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information via the public site. Employment submissions may include limited sensitive details you choose to provide; we use those only for recruiting and compliance.

3) How we use information

  Provide and improve the Services (site/app functionality, interactive map, vendor directory, events calendar)

  Process transactions (orders, tickets) and deliver confirmations, receipts, and support

  Communicate (respond to inquiries; send event updates, newsletter content, operational notices, and marketing—where permitted)

  Support vendors & events (evaluate vendor interest, schedule markets, coordinate private events)

  Analyze performance (site/app analytics, bug/crash diagnostics, trend insights)

Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors): performance of contract, legitimate interests, consent (e.g., marketing, cookies, push notifications), and legal obligations.

4) How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some analytics/advertising uses can be considered a “share” or “sale” under certain privacy laws; see Your Privacy Choices below.

Manage preferences any time via our Cookie Preferences link (footer) and your browser settings. Some browsers support Global Privacy Control (GPC)—where required by law, we treat GPC as an opt-out signal for “sale/share” of personal information.

We do not respond to legacy “Do Not Track” signals.

6) Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including:

  Account/transaction records (tax, audit, legal)

  Event and vendor records (programming/operations)

  Marketing preferences until you unsubscribe or request deletion

When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we believe your data may have been compromised, we will notify you and/or authorities as required.

8) Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, please contact us so we can delete it. For teens 13–16 in applicable jurisdictions, we do not “sell” or “share” personal information without an affirmative opt-in.

  Unsubscribe links are included in marketing emails.

  Reply STOP to SMS where applicable.

  Disable push notifications in app/device settings.

Cookies & targeted ads

  Use our Cookie Preferences to opt in/out of analytics/advertising cookies.

  Use your browser’s settings and GPC where available.

California (CPRA)

California residents have the right to:

  Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect and use

  Delete personal information (with certain exceptions)

  Correct inaccurate information

  Opt out of sale/share of personal information

  Limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (if collected)

  Non-discrimination for exercising these rights

Use our footer link “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” to manage sale/share settings (where applicable).

Shine the Light (CA Civil Code §1798.83): California residents may request details on categories of personal information we shared with third parties for their direct marketing in the prior year (if applicable). Send requests to [email protected].

EEA/UK (GDPR)

You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).

10) International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.

11) Third-party sites & services

Our Services may link to or integrate with third parties (e.g., SeeTickets, social platforms, map/directions apps, payment processors). We do not control their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

12) Vendor Market & event applications

If you apply to participate in the Vendor Market (1st & 3rd of each month) or Friday Farmers Market, we use your submitted business details solely to evaluate and administer market participation, coordinate logistics, and communicate decisions/next steps. We may retain application data for program planning, historical records, and compliance.

13) Employment applications

If you apply for a role, we process your application data to assess qualifications, communicate with you, and comply with law. We may retain records consistent with our retention policy and legal obligations.

14) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” will reflect the latest version. Material changes will be posted on our site/app and, where appropriate, we’ll notify you by email or in-app notice.

15) How to exercise your rights

We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by applicable law.

  Do not include sensitive personal data (e.g., health, SSN, financial account numbers) in general inquiry forms.
